"Get out of my car! Get out of my smart car!"

30 Day Challenge: Day #7
A picture of your most treasured item.
Okay.....Yet again a hard challenge! I finally decided on my favorite pair of sweats, lovingly deemed: "the grandpa sweats". Here's the story of how they were named, it's really clever. I was at my grandparents house, and we ended up staying the night which I had not planned on so I hadn't brought pj's. My grandma gave me these and I fell in love. I guess they were my grandpa's but he never wore them.....and so my grandma told me to keep them. Why do I love this unflattering garment so much?? Everything is better when wearing grandpa sweats. There is world peace and all is right. I almost didn't bring them when I moved out....and then I realized what a mistake that would've been. I have been seen in public with these on, I am unembarassed to say! I almost put something typical for this challenge....but I really kelsie-fied it. Don't be jealous of the grandpa sweats.
Aloha.

"Sunday Lasagna"

30 DAY CHALLENGE DAY #6
A picture of someone who you'd love to trade places with for a day. So one of my newfound heroes is Bethany Hamilton. Bethany began surfing at the age of 8, and at age 13 she was attacked by a tiger shark while surfing leaving her with a severed arm. Multiple surgeries and only a month later, she was back in the water. She is now pro and has won many awards. What an amazing story of never giving up and having a positive attitude, both of which I need to work on which is why I picked her. Kudos to Bethany!!!

"I'm so sure, I'm practically deodorant."

30 Day Challenge #5: A picture of a favorite memory.
So.......... this challenge was kinda hard. I have lots of favorite memories, some without easy access to pictures of their happenings, so I picked a somewhat recent memory.
Yay, senior trip to Hawaii!! I'm in love with these islands! Someday, my permanent residence will be on one of them.....someday. anyways about the picture. This was a Sunday afternoon, where we just drove around and had a relaxing day. Even though the sign says, "keep out" we didn't ;)
Aloha!

"Smaller snacks, slimmer slacks."

DAY #4: A PICTURE OF YOUR NIGHT
So, as unflattering as this picture is, it's a legit picture of my night last night. I was a "sitter" in ICU and my patient slept the entire time, so I had to be creative and think of ways to stay awake. You can only stand so many re-runs of house hunters and check fb so may times. How glad I will be when my days as a CNA are over and I never have to work a noc shift ever ever ever again. Sleeping during the night is NOT overrated, I miss it dearly!
So, I've actually kinda missed my random blogging spurts. I feel like even though I only have 4 followers, someone, somewhere, will find what I have to say interesting. If your just tuning into my day-dreaming blog, I'm Kelsie (my Grandma Nancy calls me Kelsie Elsie) I'm 19, and moving to Hawaii sometime in the future. Enough said.
So this week was spring break, yay..............oh wait! The only plans I had were working and watching my little brother while my parents go roadtripping. So now, here I sit, with an almost empty Pringles can and a house to myself on a friday night. Not a soul around.
So...something that's been on my mind lately, (might be because Andy's engaged...among other recent developments) is soul mates. I've been told by two different groups at completely different times in my life, that (I seem) to be the type of person, that if I'm interested or attracted to someone, I know it right away. For me, either it's there, or it isn't. Some people start out as friends and gradually grow into being in love, but none of that for me! The thing that makes it so funny that these people told me that it seems like this is how I am, is that I have felt that way my entire life! Some food for thought?

Can I just move to Hawaii tomorrow?
